1.Goals

Here are some tips for setting up your first goal:

1. Consider a goal that’s important to you, and think about the amount and target date needed to make it a reality.
2. Log into Hills Bank Online, then select “Start saving” under a Goals category on the dashboard. You can keep the category name or choose your own.
3. Follow the prompts to set up a regular transfer that is calculated to meet your goal, or save on your own terms.
4. Track your progress towards your goal on the Hills Bank Online dashboard. You can edit and see details about your goal by clicking on it. You can also edit your recurring transfers in the Activity Center under Payments/Transfers on the left-hand navigation bar.

3.Deposit Checks Remotely

Deposit a check directly into your account using our new app by simply taking a picture of the front and back of your check.

4.Transfer Funds to Another Person

Send a Person to Person transfer without knowing their account information. All you need is their email address.

5.Transfer Funds to Another Hills Bank Customer

Easily transfer one-time, future, or recurring transfers to another Hills Bank customer.

6.Bill Payment

Bill payment is free, with unlimited payments each month. However, fees will be deducted from your account if you opt for expedited payments or gift checks. 

7.Send Secure Messages 

Send messages and upload documents to Hills Bank safely and securely. 

8.Receive statements and notices electronically 

Receive email alerts when statements and notices are ready and view them within Hills Bank Online. You can access up to 18 months of statements by logging in, opening the “Services” tab on the left-hand navigation bar, and clicking on “Statements” to see a list of your monthly electronic statements.  

9.Text Banking

Enroll in text banking through Hills Bank Online to begin banking via SMS messages. Simply log in, click on “Services” in the left-hand navigation bar, then “Text Enrollment.”  The following commands are available from the short code 226563 (BANKME) although alerts and secure access codes sent from Hills Bank Online via text message will come from 878787.
